Julie House, a native of California, is a graduate of Biola University, La Mirada, California. She has a B.S. in Business Administration and has worked as an Accountant in various capacities for 23 years in the corporate (entertainment); and film/ television production environments. As a Production Auditor with Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman, CPAs, she performed production audits on such movies as “The Big Chill”, “Ghostbusters”, “Ice Man”, “Into The Night”, “The Last Starfighter”, and “Tank”. She is a Certified Internal Auditor. Over the past eleven years she has worked very closely with Producers on independent films and most recently, reality television projects. Her reality television experience was five years with Hallock Healey Entertainment, producers of such shows as: "Scare Tactics," "Who's Your Daddy," "Breaking Up With Shannon," "Caught In The Action," "25 Million Dollar Hoax" to name of few. After working with Hallock Healey she went on to form her own company, Western Boy LLC.
The mission of Western Boy is to produce entertaining and thought provoking television and film projects that will inspire and motivate audiences to take action and grow as individuals. Under Western Boy she produced the pilot for "A Week With My Father" television series. Although, Julie grew up in a two-parent home she has two stepsons and understands the importance of a father in a child's life. Her hope is that many families will be healed and begin anew because they were inspired while watching the show. Her company has developed another show tentatively titled "I Want To Be A Motivational Speaker”. Her company has other film and reality television projects in development and others up for consideration. |
